A full page layout with tree menu bind to database on the left and a central dynamic loaded page with less 100 lines of code is really amazing!

anyone has tried a primefaces/jsf 2.0 <-> javafx integration?
googlin' a bit reports many results; for example: http://blogs.sun.com/raghunair/resource ... onent.java but it's a completely new area for me and I'm confused.
I'm trying to understand if it's possible having a "communication" between primefaces components, javascript and javafx to develop <... something ...> that can interact with client local filesystem AND use most of wonderful feature of jsf/primefaces.
Any ideas - links - woodoo ?
