I see that the google maps api provides a geocoding service to map
between postal codes and grid coordinates. As p:gmap is layered on
this api does this mean that this service is effectively provided by
default by p:gmap? or, as I suspect is it really not that simple?!

In the event that it's not that simple, is there anything like a RESTful
service provided by google that can be used to do these lookups?

I'm just thinking that a) my users probably don't know their latitude
and longtitude, and b) I don't really want to have to maintain a mapping
database for 250 countries.

Regards,
Brendan.
