PrimeFaces equivalence to RichFaces "ajaxSingle"

I'd like to know what is PrimeFaces equivalence to RichFaces ajaxSingle attriburte for the p:ajax component.

process="@this" right? In that case, what's the default behavior when process is not specified? I made a test without it and worked as well. I was expecting some validation errors, since without "process" I thought that the all the components inside the form would be processed.

I believe the default for process is @this.
