Schedule - click and drag to create new time slot?

Hi All

Not sure if the Schedule component allows the creation of an event using the click and drag mouse motion. eg Click on 8:30 AM and drag the pointer to 9:30 AM and an event will be sent to the server saying a new timeslot 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM is requested?
