Hi all,

I am creating a portlet application with Spring Webflow 2.2.1, JSF 1.2 (+Primefaces 1.1).

My problem:
I have a form that has a <p:commandButton .../> this button does not work within a portlet environment because it does not call the portlet action URL, it only calls the webpage url.
So webflow is not invoked and pressing the buttons has no effect.
Currently I am using the Spring Faces button and this works.

Has anybody a hint or idea how I can use the primefaces buttons for webflow within a portlet?

Regards,
Florian

Better to use JSF 2.0 and Spring WebFlow as SWF Team and we work together targeting JSF 2.0. SWF supports JSF 1.2 but we don't anymore. This might cause you issues.

I would like to use JSF 2.0. But unfortunately this is not possible because of Spring Webflow is only supporting JSF1.2 in a portlet environment due to JSR-329.
So I am bound to JSF1.2.

Or do you know a way on how to get it work with JSF 2.0?

Florian

You can try Spring WebFlow forums, if not frankly PrimeFaces isn't the best choice for SWF-Portlet-JSF 1.2 environment.

optimus,
would you suggest SWF + PF2 as a good choice to develop complex ajaxified portlets?
thanks
