Filter only when Enter Key is pressed

Hello everybody.

Is there a way to make the filters in a Datatable to apply only when the enter (== return) key was pressed or a Search button is clicked ?

I don't want to issuing a AJAX-Request for search each entered letter.So i just want to filter when someone types and then hits the enter-key.

I tried "filterEvent="change"", and "filterEvent="click"", If I have 4 field to search , and if "change/click" is given, then when i move from one text field to another text field to search, it is searching. I want search to be done only after entering all the four search fields and then on click of enter.
