Hi i just replaced my h:inputTextarea with the brand new p:inputTextarea, and bumped into several issues

1) when loaded with text longer that can fit into the text area the vertical scroll bar is not shown (until I click inside the text area)

2)when clicked inside and the scroll appears the text area expands a bit - I was expecting only the scroll to appear, its not the case in which it should expand in real situation of text typing into the text area

i check the same scenario with and found out that with h:inputTextarea all works 100% (the scroll is present from the start - without the need to click inside it )

That is by design to implement autoResize functionality, set autoResize="false" to make p:inputTextarea behave like h:inputTextarea.

but still, why the scroll didn't show up - its not like the p:inputTextarea expanded to the needed size, it still haven't showed the entire text, it didn't resize to the needed size...
