Duplicate a panel

Hi Guys ..


I am big fan of Primefaces(already convinced one person on the team to try it ) .

Using JSf2/Spring/Primefaces on GAE


I have a requirement where when I create a layout ... I need to drag and copy panel from one layoutunit to other layoutunit .
Any advice will be appreciated

I was able to clone the panel .. but when I transition from one layout to another .. there is no smooth transition ..

1) when the panel is dragged from left to right it disappears dragging from one layoutunit to another
2) Dashboard:
Is there any way to make dashboard column free flow .. what I mean is
Place panels where ever I want even with gaps say for example
There are 4 columns/5 panels ..Place panel 1 then gap place panel 2 etc where ever I want on a full screen dashboard

This isn't a supported feature I'm aware of. You can try to create it using the showcase examples as a jumping off point: http://www.primefaces.org/showcase/ui/dragdropHome.jsf

Thanks for the reply ..

I went to showcase got the football manager working .. I created multiple output panels so that they can cover the whole screen.

I can drag and drop .. but when I try to drag and clone it does not work ? The image remains at its original location

Pls advice
