The default style for <p:inplace> doesn't suggest to the user that the field is editable--I realize that hovering does highlight.
The sample:

illustrates that <p:rowEditor /> shows a pen icon to suggest editability. Would this be a good technique for <p:inplace>? If so, how can one code a button with that pen image which switched <p:inplace> to edit mode? Something like this?
<p:inplace widgetVar="X">
...
</p:inplace>
<p:button onclick="X.toggle();" image="...">
Any other suggestions?
