Hi All,

How can I change the color of the input box created by p:inputText? I created a theme with ThemeRoller but the input boxes look almost like buttons. There isn't a specific control in ThemeRoller for styling input boxes, so I'm wondering where it picks the colors up from.

Thanks,

Rick

There are some tips for styling input controls here:

The Firefox tool Firebug makes working with CSS much easier. Take a look at one of the theme jars as well; it contains the CSS you're going to be trying to override.

ThemeRoller doesn't have styles for inputTexts so we've added those as extensions in PrimeFaces theming. I guess name was ui-inputfield. As bumblee.bee suggested take a look at theme.css of a theme, we worked to make inputs not to look like buttons.
