how to arrange menuItem and submenus on menubar

Hello,

I want to use a menubar with a fixed size (800px e.g.) and some menuItem's and submenu's on it.

If the menubar isn't filled up with a lot of Items, the Items are align to the left and there is a lot of space on the right.

Is there a way to share the available space from the right so that it's shared between the single itemsand they are using the hole width of the menu bar?

I already tried to use p:Spacer but it does not work. Empty submenu works as spacer but that's not really a clean solution.
