posting values from one p:dialog to another p:dialog

Hello guys.

I need to have a page that does the following:

1) Press a commandbutton that will open a dialog which contains a dataTable.
2) Select a row from the dataTable and then click on a commandbuton which opens a second dialog and submits the row values there.
3) Edit the row detail values in the 2nd dialog and submit them to the first dialog.

Is this somehow possible? If I enclose the contents of both dialogs in <h:form> and go through step 1, I get an unexpected result: When I press the first commandbutton the 1st dialog opens twice and simultaneously (the first version has normal contents and the other version appears empty).

Any insights will be greatly appreciated.
