Fileupload stops working after refresh of page

I have a fileupload on my page. i can upload a file just fine. actually, if i try to upload the file several more times, everything is still fine. however, if i hit refresh in my browser, and then try to upload that same file... nothing happens. oddly enough, if after the refresh, i upload a *different* file, then it works. this only happens when i do a refresh and then upload the same file.

any thoughts on what could be causing this?

Ok i just tried your case and it works for me. Can you provide some code? Is your File-Upload-Form nested within another form?

I'm actually seeing this on the primefaces labs page as well: http://www.primefaces.org/showcase-labs ... adAuto.jsf

1) Upload an image file
2) hit refresh (i'm using firefox 3.6.16)
3) Upload the same image file as in step 1

when doing step 3, nothing happens for me. however, if i do a shift+refresh for step 2, then step 3 works fine.

I just tried Chromium 10 and Firefox 4 on Ubuntu and I can't reproduce your problem with the showcase.

Could you please try one of these browsers so we can figure out if this is a browser-issue?

I downloaded firefox 4 and tested using that. Everything works correctly.

So, is this file upload component not compatible w/ firefox 3?

Maybe.. but I don't have a firefox 3.x on my computer so I can't test this
