Tomcat Open Files Error With Primefaces 2.2.1

Hello,

I'm using tomcat 7 and primefaces 2.2.1 and tomcat has a ton of open files for the primefaces-2.2.1.jar file. These are for the js and css resources bundled within primefaces (i.e. /javax.faces.resource/jquery/jquery.js.html?ln=primefaces&v=2.2.1). These are loaded from Tomcat, is there a way to load these via apache?
