Ok. Had not seen the link in the earlier post.

Tried the plunker at the link supplied in the most recent post by Suncrusher.

No luck. With a real IE11 (not an emulator), I'm unable to obtain the error.

Strange. Perhaps it only happens with windows 7... Or the IE version you're using (mine is 11.576.14393 vs yours 11.0.9600.18499)

This issue has been reproduced with IE11 (11.0.9600.17420) in VirtualBox:
