Hi,
What is the best way to put a loading mask on a dataTable when doing a lazy loading from a remote server?
Thanks!

It would be interesting to hear whether or not this is even on the roadmap. We are new to Angular2 and are interested in PrimeNG but we have already had to reach for a non-PrimeNG component for a loading indicator. If PrimeNG adds this it could be one of the "Overlay" components.
Thanks for listening

We have plans for DataTable but need to figure out how to expose it, I guess we need to add loading property otherwise it can't know when data is loaded since data can be loaded anytime via observable or else. Feedback is welcome.

Any idea how this can be implemented with Angular, maybe with a loading property?
You may need to manually set loading to true or false before and after loading it. Creating the mask is easy as we did in PrimeFaces;

Code: Select all
<p-dataTable [loading]="loading" ...

Available for 4.0-RC3 via loading property.
