Autocomplete does not show suggestions after selection

Autocomplete does not show suggestions when selection has been performed by clicking anything in the dropdown.

I can get it to work again by selecting something else, making the autocomplete control lose focus. But then it breaks again when selecting something from the dropdown.

Using SelectItem as objects in the list, with label and value correctly set.
