Hi,
I'm using the Angular 8 theme and I downloaded the project barcelona-ng-8.0.0.zip and when I open it in IE 11 it doesn't go past the splash screen but it other browsers it works fine. When I try the preview of the theme from primeng's website that works on IE11. Do I need to configure something in order to make it compatible with IE11?

IE11 is your problem here, it's garbage when it comes to compatibility with, well, anything that isn't directly developed by Microsoft.
The solution would be to use IE11 to download another browser, I'm afraid
