I have a very little confusion with the used icons and the position of the sorting columns in datatable.
Page selection
I initially clicked the last page button instead of next page button since this icon ">" looks more familiar and straight-forward then a rounded arrow. A page selection is a horizontal navigation.
Same for previous page button.
What about switchting icons ans using a different icon for last/first page?
Sort icon
The sorting icon is too far away from column horizontal start position and it is even closer located to next column then the colum it belongs too.
The decision to use no borders increases this effect. The sorting icon from last column looks "lost" this way.
In showcase it seems column "ID" has no sorting ability.
What about moving the icon left/before the header text?
Higlight page
In the second paginator the number is not highlighted. Only where clicked at.
