scrollable datatable empty zone with fiew rows

hi;
i have a scrollable datatable with fixed scrollHeight; and get data from a bisenes service. When then number of rows is greater then the scrollable zone all is fine. but when the number of rows is lesser, it fill the rest with an empty blank space without left and right borders !!
As a workaround i add :

}

now how can i add border-left and border-right with color inherit from of the enabled theme ?
