DataTable: Subheader RowGroup AND template #empty

I would like to combine row subheader grouping with a template for the empty state.

<template #empty>
Lorem ipsum...
</template>

I face an issue with the <td> generated by the template. Since the colspan is as big as there are columns, it has one more than needed with subheader row grouping that hides one of them. So the <td> colspan is too big which breaks the display of the datatable. Any smart idea to fix that?

Please provide a codesanbox sample that we can run and see the issue.
