Is there a way to accept yy.mm.dd and yymmdd format too in calendar, and alway displaying yy.mm.dd? So typed with or without separators, but displayed with separators?

Currently, only one dateFormat is permitted, please create an issue ticket at github as an enhancement for future releases.
