Folks,
I posted this on discord (Vue/Styling) a few days ago but no response from anyone there.

I have a relatively simple PrimeVue project that I can build and run with no issues on Windows.

When I pull the same code in from Github to my Mac and npm run serve it, it leaves out all the stuff under the src/assets/sass folder.

Here's what I see in the Windows Chrome DevTools (Sources):

Here's the same when I do the same under Mac:

A possible clue, and indicator of my own naivete w.r.t. webpack, Sass, SCSS and more...is that in Windows, if I drill into that orange folder and pick a file, the preview window shows me this:

Oddly, when I click onto that _button.scss file in the Sources list, at the top of my DevTools it says...

Code: Select all

Could not load content for http://localhost:8080/src/assets/sass/theme/designer/components/button/_button.scss (HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_HTTP_RESPONSE_CODE_FAILURE)
...yet it renders fine. Here's the look of a sample page in Windows. Note the look of the green-arrow stuff...

And here's how it looks on a Mac:

Any help GREATLY appreciated. I've been fighting with this for weeks.

No one? Nothing?

I posted this same question to the Discord for PrimeVue, and no one replied there, either.

I could really use some help.
