Autocomplete show suggestions on focus

Is there a way to show the dropdown with default suggestions list when the user focus on the input for the very first time?

The reason is that the customer might be clueless of what they should enter in the first place.

I tried to combine multiple available flags but none of them allow dropdown to show.
The only way it can show is making the component dirty, but the dirty flag only being set via the search function.
