Hi, I'm designing a vue app in Figma for our developers. I bought the Figma UI library and have published and added it to my design files in Figma.

But when it comes to managing the library assets, I'm not sure I'm approaching this the best way. Here are two options I see right now. Method #1 is the way I hoped it would work, but it's not working as expected.

1) Drag PrimeOne assets into my design and then control the styling of these assets (colors, borders, etc..) by editing the PrimeOne library, as if it were the stylesheet. However, I'm finding that once I drag an asset into my design, it doesn't get style updates from the library when I change things in the library. Eg, button colors. But when I drag that same asset into the design it does have the new styling.

Or,

2) Drag PrimeOne Drag PrimeOne assets into my design and reset them as local components in that Figma design. Manage all the styling there.

Am I missing anything?

Thanks!

Hi!

Thank you for choosing PrimeVue and the Figma UI kit.

Among the methods mentioned, the one you should actually follow is the method described as method #1. However, there is one thing you forgot to do. After making your changes in the library (https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/article ... components), you need to publish the changes in order for them to be updated as "update" in your other files as well. You can find more information on this process here: Publish a library: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/article ... -a-library

After the process, when you open your other files that use PrimeOne, you will see a message asking if you want to apply the changes to the components.https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/article ... ry-updates
