I'm new to using the layouts, and came across something I'm trying to better understand. The mirage-layout has a file called 'manifest.json'. When I wrap it in an external library that's then included in my project, I get a
/resources/mirage-layout/manifest.json 404 (Not Found)
in the browser's console output (manifest.json:1). The page still loads and looks fine (all other 'mirage-layout' files are found properly), but I'm trying to understand why this error would occur in the output. I don't understand the structure well enough, which is part of my problem. Thanks!

Update: Looks like it is referenced in the template file:

Code: Select all

<link rel="manifest" href="#{request.contextPath}/resources/mirage-layout/manifest.json"></link>
PrimeFaces version 10.0.0; Payara Server 5.2021; NetBeans 12.1

Hi,

Please remove manifest.json, <link rel="manifest" and meta tags related to favicon. They are for Mirage demo. You can generate your favicon tags using an online generator and add them to your project.

Best Regards,
