[Moved] paginator in facet?

Hi,

First of all, nice extensions. I never finished my datatable extensions due to the continuoing changes in the PF datatable. Sorry fot that.

For design reasons, I'd like the paginator to be in the footer of the datatable, so I can combine it with a 'refresh' icon on the same row. Could this be considered as an enhancement?

Hello Ronald,

pe:paginator has an attribute "paginatorPosition" (default is "both"). This is the same attribute as in p:dataTable. We only separated pagination related attributes to a stand-alone component pe:paginator in order to reuse paginator settings.

Have I understood you right?

To clarify: we can't change position of paginator. This is managed by PF DataTable. pe:paginator is just a TagHandler which set paginator attributes into parent DataTable component. Not more and not less.

Ok, I'll see if I can change the datatable then to have this flexibility. I'm currently working on other enhancements to the datatable anyway (dblClick event, auto height, keyboard navigation and possibly even the combination of treetable and datatable)
