Version mismatch : Java compiler issue

Hi ,

It looks like PE is not compatible with Java 1.5 . Please confirm as i am getting the error of version mismatch .

i am using WAS 6.1 , PF3.2 snapshot, Mojarra2.1.4

Hi,

Can you not use Java 6? I think there are less places in PF Extensions which are not compatible with Java 1.5. AFAIK it's only @Override annotation.

Problem is the WAS version

We will discuss this issue internal and update this topic tomorrow. Generated classes are targeted with Java 6 at the moment.

We decided to stick with Java 6. Java 5 is a relative "old" version. Sorry.

If you want you can check out the code http://code.google.com/p/primefaces-ext ... e/checkout, remove @Override and build it with Java 5 for your purpose.

I think JSF core supports Java5 and PrimeFaces as well.

Ah ok. If JSF core and PrimeFaces support Java 5 we will remove @Overrides and change target plattform in pom.xml. I'm starting the work...
