Good morning. Have been trying to access the showcase for the past few days, but no luck. Will it be back up soon?

Thanks.

Should we deploy the extensions demo to primefaces.org/extensions-showcase and put a link under demos section?

if possible, yes :) Thanks for offer!

Could we also get an "labs" showcase then?

How would you like to deploy our showcase?
We could provide an download for release versions but what about labs then?
I think it costs to much time for you and we can't trigger an deployment then.

Do you already have a Jenkins for PrimeFaces? Would it be possible to host Jenkins, too?
With Jenkins, we could create 2 Jobs (deployment release, deployment labs showcase) and we could trigger the deployment (normal and labs) if we are ready and not if you have free time :)

The simplest solution would be a deployment from the download section. Releases are available there. The question is only how fast PF team can deploy a new release. 8 hours after release is ok for me. Jenkins or similar tool would be even better if we could trigger the deployment self.

I'm not sure if we need labs for SNAPSHOTs.

A link under demos section is ok and primefaces.org/extensions-showcase is ok as well. But we have two configs, one for Mojarra and one for MyFaces (this helps to find issues faster and we found a lot when we tested for both impl.). Links should be then extensions-showcase-mojarra and extensions-showcase-myfaces or primeext-showcase-mojarra and primeext-showcase-myfaces. You can place only one link under demos because we can switch impl. at runtime.

Hello Cagatay,

These articles can maybe help you to make a decision for Jenkins

I'm not sure about releases (release plugin and PGP signing asks some inputs), but deployment of SNAPSHOTs is easy with Jenkins.
