AjaxExceptionHandlerFactory

Hi, I am trying to implement the AjaxExceptionHandlerFactory.

I want to specify a few exception types and display different exceptions appropriately.

I first tried a basic javax.faces.application.ViewExpiredException. When the view expired, or forced by deleting the cache, this worked perfectly if I did not specify anything in the faces-config. However if I added the exception handler in the faces-config then it stopped working with a 'Identifier for execute FlashMap was lost on the postback, thus FlashScope information is gone.' in the log. It successfully traps the other errors and I can display the extended info which is how I want it to work. It seems I cannot have both. Any thoughts or ideas to try.
