Hello,
I'm using blockUI component.
I want it to erase any growl components that remains on the same page. These growls are made sticky. But I want them to disappear only if a dialog or a blockUI appears.

However it seems that contrary to dialog, blockUI does not provide any event handler such as onShow, onHide. This is true for blockUI in both Primefaces Extension (pe:blockUI) and Primefaces (p:blockUI).

So do I have to emulate onShow handler under blockUI, by writing specific Javascript function with jQuery's blockUI API?

But yes indeed, blockUI contains an attribute "event".
It is represented as "Name(s) of one or several accepted events. Several events should be defined as space or comma separated list".

However I can't figure out how to use it as a client side callback such as dialog's onShow.
