I am using Prime Diamond version template (Diamond Layout - v3.1.0).
updated all dependencies and integrate with Vite.js for faster load.
After that I got an issue with Fullcalendar. Error shown:
Please import the top-level fullcalendar lib before attempting to import a plugin.
How to fix that issue. If further information. I can share my project.

Hi,

This issue isn't related to Diamond. We'll work on this issue on PrimeVue core. You can track it on Github.

I'm having the same issue. I only see 2 open issues for fullcalendar on github, but neither seems related. One is low priority. The other, #1316, is supposed to be fixed in PR 1317, but a) it doesn't seem related and b) I tried copying the PR fullcalendar.vue code over my node_modules/primevue/fullcalendar/FullCalendar.vue file, but this didn't seem to do anything.

I am wondering if this has fallen through the cracks.

I am only getting this issue with version 5.6.0. When I downgrade to 4.4.2:

npm i @fullcalendar/core@4.4.2 @fullcalendar/daygrid@4.4.2 @fullcalendar/interaction@4.4.2 @fullcalendar/timegrid@4.4.2

the bug goes away. Also, I can un-comment-out :

import '@fullcalendar/core/main.min.css';
import '@fullcalendar/daygrid/main.min.css';
import '@fullcalendar/timegrid/main.min.css';

in main.ts, which otherwise throws on compiling with 5.6.0 (at least /core/main.min.css)

Unfortunately, in my case, at least some of the styling tweaks I made in the 5.6.0 version get lost. Not sure if this is me or the library. If I try again commenting out

import '@fullcalendar/core/main.min.css';
import '@fullcalendar/daygrid/main.min.css';
import '@fullcalendar/timegrid/main.min.css';

the calendar looks awful.

Hi,

There is an reopened issue about Vite support for FullCalendar 5+. https://github.com/primefaces/primevue/issues/1211

It seems FullCalendar has some problems with Vite support even their own examples. https://github.com/fullcalendar/fullcal ... typescript.

We are looking for solve this problem asap.

Best,
