The guide at https://www.primefaces.org/primeflex/migration simply says,

Code: Select all

p Prefix
p prefix is removed from all of the classes in favor of the readability.
But in few cases it is lot more than that,
For example,
In Primeflex v2, the nogutter class is

Code: Select all

.p-nogutter
Whereas the same class in v3 is,

Code: Select all

.grid-nogutter
So

Code: Select all

p-
prefix is removed and

Code: Select all

grid-
prefix is added.

Hi,

Thank you so much for your feedback. We will consider that and improve our migration guide.

Hi,

Do you have an ETA when will that migration guide be completed? I too have discovered lots of issues that are not documented in the migration guide.

As such I am finding the only thing to do is to get the 2.0.0 release and try to document all the class names and cross reference that to v3.

It would be really handy to actually just have a table of the all the v2 flex class names and the new v3 class names (or blank if deprecated with a note about a workaround).

Thanks in advance.

You can also use the PrimeFaces CLI for an automatic migration ;)
https://github.com/primefaces/primeface ... /README.md

Bear in mind that the CLI still has some missing depracted PrimeFlex 2.0.0 migrations that I adressed in this issue, but otherwise it works perfect.

Update
The reported issues in the ticket above are now fully fixed in PrimeFaces CLI 12.0.0 BETA that you can download using the link in the README.md
