How change white backgroung from paneelGrid/Form

I have a jsf page with a fomulario containing a panelGrid , this page has an image of colorful background and contrast with the white background of panelGrid was not legal. I want to make the background transparent form or else reduce the opacity of it.

any suggestion ?
