Adamantium theme sub menu icon

I am new to prime faces i have a problem where I have sub menu which has child menus in it, i get add icon by default for sub menu. I want to change it to subtract as i expand and to add as i collapse again.

I found this viewtopic.php?f=27&t=47656
solution and it works for adamantium theme also. It does change the icon after i expand but once i click some other menu and come back again icon will be subtract it does not change to add.
