Datepicker migration - pagedate attribute equivalent

Hi all,

We are currently migrating to Primefaces 12.0 (we were previously in a version 6.1) and we want to move from Calendar component to the new Datepicker one.
No big issues, and we found most of the old attributes and functionalities.
There is only one attribute that we didn't find in the new component and didn't find a way to achieve the same goal. This if for pageDate one that "Sets the initial date when value is not populated." (https://www.primefaces.org/docs/vdl/6.1/core/)
We didn't find an attribute that could achieve this in Datepicker, by default it opens on the current date. Is there a way to open it to a specific date / period if there is no current value ?
