Hi, the datatable has no style so it's the normal behavior, we've tested this with styled components, no problem seen.

Hello, thanks your replay:

I have a mistake, my problem is not above..

I testting the code afternoon.. It seems incompatible problem between IE8.0 and Prototype.js. when the code runing following function, i have get a error on the IE8.0 . (Prototype's function) :
function evalScripts() {
return this.extractScripts().map(function(script) { return eval(script) });
}

when this error appears , the table js could not eval to client. so I think that the wrong as "no css style".

I went to the Prototype office website, found a version : Prototype 1.6.1 RC2
and they write note on the website:
Prototype 1.6.1 RC2: IE8 compatibility, Element storage, and bug fixes

I replace the prototype version to 1.6.1 rapidly . but so Unfortunately,the problem still exists.

this but is strange from IE8.0 , what think about ? host?

Well, we've dumped prototyped from PrimeFaces alltogether and migrated to jQuery for several reasons so you might want to try with a 0.9.0-SNAPSHOT.
