Hello community,

PrimeFaces is Great!, Is extremely easy to use.
I wonder what tool (framework, library) may use or how I can get my primefaces application is made to Screen Adaptive where it goes.
I ask because I have not found an implementation that supports PrimeFaces,

I thank you for your help.

What you really need to do is search this forum, google, and/or stackoverflow.com for any/all of the following:

jsf performance

There are so many blogs out there where people shared their own opinion/experience/expertise on how to improve performance in a JSF (java server faces) web application. There are so many ways to improve the performance of your JSF web application. Your question is more of a JSF question than a PrimeFaces application.

if you search this forum for the following,

mojarra performance

you may find a forum topic that had a lot of responses, where people were talking about stateless jsf, performance comparison between mojarra and myfaces core (version 2.1.7). That forum topic inspired me to migrate from mojarra 2.1.7 to myfaces core 2.1.8, and my web app was so fast, running with myfaces core 2.1.8 on glassfish 3.1.2.2, and then I decided to do one more things related to performance and to bring my web app up-to-date and prepare for Java EE 7... i migrated my web app from JSF-managed-beans (@ManagedBean) to CDI-managed beans (@Named), and migrated from Glassfish 3.1.2.2 to TomEE/OpenWebBeans (which runs CDI-managed-bean web apps very very well).

Read this response of mine and start your search with some of the keywords that I mentioned here. Learn to read as many forum topics 'daily' (every day) and learn from others...instead of asking questions titled 'responsive web application'.

I honestly thought "Screen Adaptive" was one of those webdesign bureaus. The post is formatted like so many other ones that got removed... But I had a little doubt, that is why I posted. Like you I did not understand the post.

@gaso: sorry...

Sorry, I'm using a translator, I speak Spanish.

I'm working with Primefaces and use Facelets template engine, I wonder if there is any template or similar engine that implements Responsive web design (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design), Apache Velocity've seen and I've searched in google but I have not found anything that allows me to do what makes Twitter Bootstrap (http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/) or Centurion (http://jhough10.github.com/Centurion/), the application adaptivity in the browser.

I saw that ZK (http://www.zkoss.org/zkdemo/responsive_design) has already implemented the concept of Responsive Design in its components and Layouts.

As far as I know a Primefaces web app needs a sister application that you will need to code to adapt to different form factors. It is not responsive by itself. I have in the past tried to detect browser+device agent on the homepage and routed the request that came to my website http://www.mywebsite.com to m.mywebsite.com if the request came from a iPad or iPhone. There are many free open source browser detectors like http://detectmobilebrowsers.mobi/ that you could use.

That said application designed on Prime Mobile is responsive to the various mobile devices and desktop web browsers and as explained here http://www.primefaces.org/showcase-labs ... /index.jsf and to the extend jQuery Mobile supports responsiveness as outlined here http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/doc ... tures.html

Hope this helps

No, PrimeFaces doesn't have something for responsive web design. This is not a goal of PrimeFaces. I had to implement a responsive web layout by myself in the past. There is a good overview in the internet about this subject. There are many responsive grids which also look good on tablets and smartphones.

We used twitter bootstap layout css for responsive design in a project along with PrimeFaces and it worked great.

Responsive design is out of scope of PrimeFaces.
