how to encrypt the password from login in transmitted

may I know any approach to encrypt the password in transmission ?
now it is plaintext in transmission.
for primefaces, is it possible to add java script library to encrypt it before posting to server?

Although this is a slightly different question from the previous topic, it's equally flawed thinking - the topic at https://stackoverflow.com/questions/200 ... e-of-https explains why encrypting the password client side isn't worth the time and effort.

Again though this is all general concept stuff rather than anything PrimeFaces specific.
