Upgrading from 6.1 to 6.2 breaks my application.

I did read the migration guide, no issues from there.

* firefox linux:
- datatable filtering not triggered (no logging/errors)
- paging links do not work (no logging/errors)
- save button in roweditor does not work (no logging/errors)
- cancel button in roweditor does not work (no logging/errors)
- theme switching gives errors (all-themes-1.0.10)

* chromium linux:
- buttons in roweditor do work

I know, this is too little detail, but at this time I don't have any more.

And the amount of problems I encounter made me decide to let you know anyway.

For me this is blocking for upgrading and it worries me a lot, will every upgrade be cumbersome?

Bye, Eduard

To me it sounds like you are having Javascript conflicts like an old Jquery lib conflicting with PF new Jquery 3.

Hit F12 in Google Chrome and look at the javaScript Console for errors.

Hi,

I have upgraded 6.1 => 6.2 (I am in the process to upgrade from 5.3 to 7.0, step by step, so far upgraded to 6.1 without many issues.)

Now after this 6.1 => 6.2 upgrade my application's top (<nav class="navbar navbar-default">) menu is not working. I tried to check all Jquery conflict issues, but couldn't find any and there are no errors on the Console of Developer's tools.

Look forward a quick help in this regard.

Thanks

Code: Select all

<nav class="navbar navbar-default">
Is a Bootstrap class and has nothing to do with PF 6.2 most likely you are having some CSS style conflict or need to update your Bootstrap.
