What's the use of pm:header swatch attribute?

The documentation for "pm:header" says "swatch" is "the swatch of the header". What does that mean? What is it used for?

PrimeFaces Mobile is deprecated in 6.2 and being removed in 6.3 so I don't think you will get many answers about it.
