Horizonal Bar Chart Legend Problem

https://www.primefaces.org/showcase/ui/chart/bar.xhtml

If you click on the legend for HORIZONTAL bar chart; it toggles the "other" legend in the key.

It does the same in my project.
PF12+, Quarkus 3.2+ (CDI, JPA etc.), JSF Bridge (MyFaces 4.0.1)
Dont forget the classifier:

You should probably switch to use the new ChartsJS and not the old Charts.

However that being said there is no Horizontal option yet even though CHartsJS supports it: https://www.chartjs.org/docs/latest/charts/bar.html

Actually check it out Horizontal ChartsJS already exists in PF: https://www.primefaces.org/showcase/ui/ ... hbar.xhtml

That should fix you up.

Thx for your prompt response.
I didnt know that ChartJS was the preferred option (and saw nothing in the demo screens suggesting I use the "other" charts).
I will use JS from now on; buit with limited time to get this piece of work done and a number of issues and enhancements to work though I have to leave it "as is" for now.
IT is so great to have Primefaces; it makes me so productive!!!

No problem. yeah those old JQPlot based charts are buggy and JqPlot seems to be abandoned where ChartsJS is a very active open source project and also looks really nice!

What i was trying to say was shame there was no - use the other charts- note...
