Accessing the current PrimeFaces showcase (7.1) gives you 4 display options for the p:message component, but the newest "tooltip" option looks exactly the same as the default option.

What is the difference between the two?

3 modes according to the doc and explained here: https://primefaces.github.io/primefaces ... splay-mode

Even though its in the Showcase I don't think there is a "tooltip" display mode.
