Texteditor tab and space

How can I use a tab and multiples spaces in Text Editor component ?

When click a tab, the focus change to next component
When click multiple space, only one works

Tab and multiple spaces work fine for me on the Showcase?

Work only when you is typing.
When change action and save all space becomes one.

Are you sure its not the rendered HTML that is removing those tabs etc. Since the TextEditor submits HTML look at the raw submit value.
