TreeNode with checkbox only in the first level

Hi. I´m using the tree component on a page and I need to have the nodes with checkboxes only in the first tree level.
If I use the selectionMode="checkbox" the Checkbox will be on all levels.
I would like something like:

[ x ] Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Level 3
[ x ] Level 1
Level 2
Level 3

Is there any way I can achieve that?
