It would be really useful if developers were able to limit the number of options (chips) displayed in a MultiSelect.

This can be done applying maxSelectedLabels to a MultiSelect when only displaying a comma separated string. However, as soon as display="chip" is added, unlimited chips are displayed.

See https://stackblitz.com/edit/primeng-ta ... =README.md for an example. It works great until display="chip" is added.

Thanks for you consideration!

Please consider, it is a great feature for multiselect to display selected labels as chips. However, this unlimited display is limiting its use (horizontal stretching) and forcing to use not so elegant workarounds (See https://stackblitz.com/edit/primeng-tab ... =README.md for a workaround).

Could someone suggest steps to extend MultiSelect to modify its template.

Thanks.
