Is there any plan on creating toolbar and drawer widgets? The drawer widget would be a toolbar that could open from [top,left,right,bottom] with the left and right being a sidebar like the slideout sidebar in ngMaterials.

Can you please send us links of examples? I'm not familiar with these widgets types.

Here is an example drawer that slides out from the left or right. Would be nice to have a top and bottom implementation as well.

I noticed another user is also requesting this.

I see, we've done implementations like that before, I think that suits more to PrimeNG layouts rather than PrimeNG itself. For example checkout our new layout, Olymus. Click popup menu option to display the drawer mode.

As a side note, material design themes-layouts for PrimeNG would be the ones derived from PrimeUI/PrimeFaces;

There will be PrimeNG version in april as well.

Thanks for the heads up. So when you say "layout" does that mean theme/styling for the PrimeNg components? So basically depends on the css you import?

Layout is the template of the page including menus, header, footer.

Theme is the css file to skin PrimeNG components.

When we create a layout, we also create a theme that has the same design language, color scheme so that layout and PrimeNG components look unified.
