Changing the CSS of existing PrimeNg Component

Hello Team,


I'm using PrimeNg Tab component for left Orientation. Actually i just want to do some modification in the CSS and styling of the tabs, rather than using the exact component.
I tried to do the CSS changes for the same, but it's not reflecting. For other components say for ex. of calendar as well i tried for it's CSS change., but none of these are reading my CSS class.

I don't want to change the css of component in the actual node module but instead i just want to use it through my own css files.

Can you please help me out in providing any way to change or do alteration for existing component of primeNg. Any help on this would be appreciated.
