Error: Cannot build angular2 app with primeng using AOT

I am trying to create a simple angular2 app that uses primeng's menubar. While the app builds fine using webpack version 2, it fails miserably when trying to build with angular's AOT.

Due to significant reduction in file size of the final app gained thru AOT and rollup, it is important that developers are able to utilize this optimization technique with vendor libraries.

This repo is intended to be a demo app using primeng menubar. Currently, parts of the code related to primeng are commented out. Can you take it from there? Please be sure to read the ReadMe, especially the "Known Issues".

AOT support is ready and will be available in next week's RC1 release.
