The new native mask implementation is seriously crippled.

If a priority could be given to implementing regex pattern support that would greatly improve things, as well as leaving a pathway open for alias definitions later.

I'm just trying to migrate a simple mask using percentage, the best I seem to be able to do right now is '9?99%', but since the non-mask character '%' is after the optional marker it never shows on the output after entry, even if I put in 100. Without the optional marker the percent shows, but I have to enter leading zeros (which are retained when displayed, which indicates that it is NOT being treated as a number after all).

I really like using one set of UI widgets, but might have to roll my own or move over to using the JQuery widget....
